I find myself spending a lot of my time either tweaking and tinkering with my mountain bike or with my code and design, and since dreams of becoming a professional mountain biker haven’t worked out (yet), I feel pretty good about my last seventeen years in the web design industry, and look forward to what’s around the corner (both web and trail).
With sixteen years of experience in the design industry, I’ve been fortunate to be able to distinguish myself as an award-winning graphic designer and creative director. I feel fortunate to have built relationships with some amazing people and clients, producing projects ranging from the EPA to the Weinstein Company.
I’ve worked hard to elevate the level of design, standards, project management and the development processes for each company I’ve worked with. Working through all the up’s and downs in the advertising and web design business since 1994 after graduating from the College of Charleston with a degree in Psychology and Communications. Always looking forward to tackling the next amazing project with the team of great designers, front-end developers and code heavy hitters I work with... and then go ride my bike as fast as I can through the woods.
Currently, my focus in business is setting my company, Aktiv Studios, apart from other firms by combining the very best in creative web site design, development and customer experience.
